Walks in Caerphilly

Around 80% of the rights of way in the Caerphilly county borough council are open and with about 5000 hectares of open access land available for walkers, exploring the countryside couldn't be easier.

If you have been ill or feel that you aren't fit enough to go for a long walk then try our healthy walks. These are easy, short, half hour walks designed to get you back into the walking habit. To help you develop your walking and discover the rich natural heritage in the county borough we have established several walk guides and are currently developing more. Keep visiting these pages to keep up with new trail guides as they are produced.
